ATTEND THE XR ACCESS SYMPOSIUM ON INCLUSIVE XR FEATURING XRA STAFF, MEMBERS

Beginning Thursday, June 9th, 2022, XR Access will host a two-day virtual symposium featuring panels on inclusive VR media and entertainment, accessible training and collaboration efforts, and cutting-edge research within the field. Attendees will learn how to make XR more inclusive today, and how it will affect everyday life tomorrow. This free virtual event is open to anyone who registers.

On Day 1, Liz Hyman, CEO of the XR Association, will provide an co-introduction to the symposium’s keynote address given by Accenture’s Marisol Villena Salerno and Jacque Madison on “Inclusive XR at Scale – The Nth Floor.” On Day 2, XRA staff will be featured in two Deep Dive Discussion breakout sessions: Stephanie Montgomery will be joined by Thomas Logan of Equal Entry and Roland Dubois of Shop-Ware to discuss “Non-Visual Access to Immersive Content” (A4) and Joan O’Hara will address “Policy Implications for XR Accessibility” (A2) along with Corinne Weible, Partnership on Employment and Accessible Technology (PEAT) and John Soroushian, Bipartisan Policy Center. XRA member companies will also participate in the event’s program, including Meta and Big Rock Creative.
