Long Beach, CA – On Tuesday, June 10, 2025, the XR Association’s Senior Vice President of Research and Best Practices, Stephanie Montgomery, will participate on a panel at the 2025 Augmented World Expo in Long Beach, CA. The panel, titled “Stronger Together: Accessibility & Diversity in a Post-DEIA XR Landscape,” will explore how investing in diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) strengthens teams, fosters innovation, and drives efficiency in the rapidly evolving XR industry.
Montgomery will be joining Dylan Fox, Director of Operations at XR Access, and Devin Baldwin, WebXR Developer & Educator at The Devinci Code. Together, they will discuss the shifting DEIA landscape, the misconceptions surrounding accessibility and diversity, and how inclusive workplaces lead to stronger, more creative, and more successful organizations—with or without a mandate from above.
For those attending AWE 2025, be sure to join this important conversation on how diversity and accessibility fuel the future of XR.
