The Information Technology and Innovation Foundation and the XR Association (XRA) will explore the role of policy in AR/VR innovation during a half-day in-person and virtual conference on Thursday, October 21, 2021from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Through a series of expert talks and panels, the topics will identify priority areas for policymakers to consider as XR technologies, including augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR), solutions gain traction across sectors.
Elizabeth Hyman, CEO of XRA will provide opening remarks and Joan O’Hara, XRA’s Vice President of Public Policy will participate in the panel discussion “Privacy, Safety, and Content Moderation in Immersive Experiences.”
