On Monday, November 14th, XRA will participate in the FOSI 2022 Annual Conference, Trust & Assurance: Online Safety in an Uncertain World in Washington, DC. The conference will convene the best online safety thinkers, practitioners, and experts from around the world for high-level discussions and debates, engaging networking opportunities, and a first-class exhibition of online safety technologies, products and services. Attendees will have the chance to explore topics such as content moderation, privacy policies and practices, safety in the metaverse, digital well-being, and much more.
Stephanie Montgomery, XRA’s Vice President of Research & Best Practices, will be participating on the 4:15 p.m. panel, “From AR to Avatars: Navigating Safety in the Metaverse,” alongside panelists Tami Bhaumik from Roblox, Kristina Podnar from XRSI, Louis Rosenburg from Unanimous A.I., and moderator David Ryan Polgar from All Tech is Human. Panelists will discuss current experiences in the metaverse, the use of augmented and virtual reality, and the potential benefits and challenges we collectively face in this evolving realm. Panelists will also reflect on the role that industry, policymakers, parents, and advocates will play as this technology continues to advance.
