Washington, D.C. – On Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2025, the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF) and the XR Association (XRA) will celebrate the fifth anniversary of the AR/VR Policy Conference in Washington.
For the past four years, the conference has been the leading forum for XR industry leaders, policymakers and experts to explore the opportunities and challenges of augmented and virtual reality technologies. AR/VR technology is transforming how we communicate, access information, and engage with the world, raising important policy questions that will have profound implications for the economy and society.
This year’s conference will feature a hands-on demo area showcasing the latest advancements in immersive technology. Attendees will have the opportunity to test cutting-edge applications, explore real-world use cases, and speak directly with the innovators behind them. Featured demos include CareerViewXR, Google, MediView, Meta, Qualcomm, Reframe XR, and VirtualWare.
