Washington, D.C. – The XR Association, in conjunction with the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF), will be hosting the third annual AR/VR Policy Conference on September 14, 2023, in Washington, DC. This free one-day event will feature expert panel discussions and technology demonstrations from XRA member companies.
Senator Todd Young (R-IN) and Representative Lisa Blunt Rochester (D-DE) will give keynote remarks at the event. As esteemed policymakers and technological innovation advocates, Senator Young and Representative Blunt Rochester have demonstrated a keen interest in the transformative potential of XR technologies.
One of the highlights of the conference will be the expert panel discussions, with a wide range of speakers including Jennifer Achus (Bureau of Cyberspace and Digital Policy, U.S. Department of State), Jennifer Huddleston (Cato Institute), Muhsinah Morris (Morehouse College), Rob Sherman, (Meta), Adam Thierer (R Street Institute), and many more!
The conference will also feature technology demonstrations from XRA member companies, including Cleanbox Technology, Google, HaptX, HTC, Meta, Qualcomm, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Transfr, and Virti.
