|

Orlando, FL – On April 10, Elizabeth Hyman, CEO of the XR Association, took the stage at the 3rd Annual VRARA Central Florida Immersive Technology Summit, held at the University of Central Florida.

In her presentation, “U.S. Legislation and Policy Update – How XR is being codified into law,” Hyman explored the growing role of immersive technology in federal policy. She provided an in-depth look at the bipartisan United States Leadership in Immersive Technology Act of 2024, which lays the groundwork for a strategic national framework to support XR innovation. Attendees gained insights into the broader policy landscape and how emerging legislation can drive sustainable growth in the immersive tech industry.

This event was also a part of the VRARA Road Show series, which seeks to demonstrate how XR, in tandem with AI, and other emerging technologies can transform public sector operations and workforce. The Orlando conference featured officials from the realms of national security, public safety, aerospace, and healthcare. The XR Association is proud to support the road show series.
