XRA CEO JOINS POLICY LEADERS AT ICPHSO 2025 TO DISCUSS GLOBAL STANDARDS AND REGULATION

Orlando, FL – XRA CEO Liz Hyman attended the 2025 Annual Meeting and Training Symposium in Orlando, Florida, hosted by the International Consumer Product Health and Safety Organization (ICPHSO) from February 17-20, 2025. Hyman was honored to join her fellow panelists Sarah Smith, Deputy Chief Executive Office for Product Safety and Standards, UK, and Brett Horn, Founder of Charlie House. Ed Turtle of Cooley LLP moderated the discussion which was focused on the opportunities of stakeholders to participate and provide feedback at different stages of policy and law making in the EU, US and UK, and in the development of standards and regulations. Coming from an industry trade association representing an exciting emerging technology, Hyman brought a unique industry perspective to the conversation and highlighted ways in which an organization such as the XR Association can play a vital role in the crafting of policy and standards.
