XRA CEO TO MODERATE PANEL ON LEVERAGING EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES FOR WORKFORCE AT THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF WORKFORCE BOARDS (NAWB) ANNUAL FORUM

Washington, D.C. – On Monday, March 27th, 2023, XRA’s CEO, Elizabeth Hyman, will moderate the panel discussion, “The Power of Immersion: Leveraging Emerging Technologies for Workforce Development.” This panel will discuss how industry and government can work together to create policies that better support the workforce and how immersive technology can facilitate improved outcomes. Participants will learn how to advocate for federal and state programs, how XR technology can be deployed, and what opportunities exist to partner with the industry.

Panelists include:

  • Katelyn Curshall, Vice President, Economic Development, Transfr
  • Charlie Terrell, Public Sector Strategy and Consulting Manager, Accenture

NAWB represents approximately 550 Workforce Development Boards and their 12,000+ business members that coordinate and leverage workforce strategies with education and economic development stakeholders within their local communities to ensure that state and local workforce development and job training programs meet the needs of employers.

Hosted by NAWB, The Forum is a national conversation around the shared responsibility to meet the needs of businesses, career seekers, and local economies and drive America’s ability to compete in the global market. The Forum convenes leaders, advocates, and changemakers in business, government, labor, and education to network and share insights, address key issues affecting U.S. workforce development, and consider the goals and policy framework affecting the future of human capital and economic growth.
