XRA CEO TO MODERATE AI AND XR PANEL AT THE AUGMENTED ENTERPRISE SUMMIT 2024
On Tuesday, October 15, 2024, Elizabeth Hyman, CEO of the XR Association, will be moderating a panel at the Augmented Enterprise Summit (AES) in Dallas, Texas. AES is a premier event that brings together industry leaders, innovators, and experts to explore the transformative potential of augmented and virtual reality in the enterprise space. The summit showcases the latest advancements in immersive technology, focusing on its applications across sectors like manufacturing, healthcare, and logistics.
The panel, titled “Connected Workplace: Pairing XR with AI & Other Emerging Technologies,” will explore how XR can be paired with AI and other emerging technologies to improve business outcomes. Hyman will be joined by Jeffrey Berthiaume, Senior Innovator at Southwest Airlines; Mohamed Abbas, Vice President Head of Product Growth & Innovation at TD Bank; Bharat Sharma, Machine Vision and Automation Lead at CSX; Doug Gorr, Senior Director, Enterprise Innovation Architect at Eli Lilly; and George Hellstern, Lockheed Martin Fellow at Lockheed Martin. Panelists will delve into use cases combining XR and AI (including generative AI, computer vision, machine learning, object and voice recognition, etc.), integration and other challenges, the role of XR in industry 4.0, and other emerging technologies on the horizon such as brain computer interfaces and quantum computing.
