XRA CEO TO PARTICIPATE IN WEBINAR DISCUSSION ON XR’S IMPACT ON FIRE SERVICE TRAINING, OPERATIONS, AND SAFETY

Elizabeth Hyman, CEO of the XR Association (XRA), will join a panel of industry experts on March 26, 2025, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. EDT for a webinar discussion on how immersive technology is revolutionizing the fire service. The session will explore how XR is enhancing firefighter training, situational awareness, and operational decision-making.

Hyman will be joining Paul Speight, Ken Willette, James Mullins, and Kirk McKinzie to discuss next-generation training tools, including immersive scenario-based simulations designed to improve firefighter readiness and retention. The discussion will also highlight operational advancements, such as AR overlays and real-time data visualization, which enable safer and faster decision-making during emergencies.

The webinar will cover how fire services can integrate XR with smart city infrastructure, including digital twins and predictive analytics, to improve response efficiency. Attendees will also get a sneak peek at hands-on XR experiences set to be featured at FDIC 2025.
