XRA HIGHLIGHTS HOW XR CAN ASSIST AGING, UNDERSERVED POPULATIONS IN HHS FILING

The XR Association filed comments with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in response to its Request for Information on the use of novel technologies to reach aging, underserved populations. In its comments, the XR Association highlights how virtual, augmented, and mixed reality solutions can support healthcare practitioners in diagnosing, treating and monitoring patients from afar. The role of XR technologies in patient therapy and rehabilitation, providing alternatives to prescribing drugs like opioids, is explored as well.
