Reality Check 1

Washington, D.C. – The XR Association is proud to announce the release of the policy-focused mini-series, “Reality Check”, as part of the Immersive Insights podcast. The episode is available for streaming on all major platforms. This first episode in the mini-series is hosted by Joan O’Hara and features two esteemed guest speakers, Susan Aaronson and Adam Zable of George Washington University’s Digital Trade and Data Governance Hub

In this episode, O’Hara, Aaronson, and Zable discuss how XR technology contributes to economic success and national security. They also examine the United States’ competitiveness in the sector and how the U.S. compares to other nations like South Korea, China, and more.

As other jurisdictions are making strides with developing national strategies for nurturing and adopting XR, it is imperative for the United States government to also take action to support the responsible development and adoption of immersive technologies across the country.

Listeners can tune in to Immersive Insights on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Google Podcasts to learn where the U.S. ranks among its competitors and allies and the implications of falling behind in race towards XR innovation on this episode of Immersive Insights.
