XRA REINFORCES IMPORTANCE OF TRUST AND SAFETY IN THE METAVERSE AT FAMILY ONLINE SAFETY INSTITUTE EVENT

Washington, DC — On Monday, November 14th, XRA’s Vice President of Research & Best Practices, Stephanie Montgomery, joined the panel discussion, “From AR to Avatars: Navigating Safety in the Metaverse – How is the metaverse evolving, and how do we ensure that users are kept safe?” at the Family Online Safety Institute (FOSI) Annual Conference 2022. Montgomery joined panelists Tami Bhaumik from Roblox, Kristina Podnar from XRSI, Dr. Louis Rosenberg from Unanimous A.I., and moderator David Ryan Polgar from All Tech is Human, for a discussion on current experiences in the metaverse, the use of augmented and virtual reality, and the potential benefits and challenges in this new realm.
