Washington, D.C. – On Tuesday, January 9, 2024, XRA’s Senior Director of Public Policy, Miranda Lutz, participated on a panel discussion at the #NatSecGirlSquad Conference in Washington, D.C. The #NSGCCon is the world’s largest national security and defense conference for professional women and their allies. The panel discussion, titled “Can You Build an Embassy in the Metaverse?” explored how diplomatic activities can be translated into virtual spaces, the technological infrastructure needed for the metaverse to be fully realized, and how immersive technologies can help governments address today’s challenges.
