XRA'S SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF PUBLIC POLICY TO SPEAK AT AWE EU

Vienna, Austria – On October 25, 2023, XRA’s Senior Vice President of Public Policy, Joan O’Hara, will join a panel discussion at the Augmented World Expo in Vienna, Austria. The panel discussion, titled “Regulating the Future: What’s Next for Metaverse Policy?” will explore how policymakers around the world are making sense of the metaverse, virtual worlds, and their enabling technologies. 

Panelists will explore how to approach the development of the metaverse, and will discuss ongoing government initiatives, current focus areas, and what to expect in the near future. The panel will be moderated by Patrick Grady (Metaverse EU), and other panelists include Juan Bossicard (Meta), Juliana Koza (Qualcomm), Anne Bajart (European Commission), and Isabella Williamson (Consulum).
