XRA’S SVP OF RESEARCH AND BEST PRACTICES TO PARTICIPATE IN MDIC MEDICAL EXTENDED REALITY SUMMIT

The XR Association (XRA) will take part in the MDIC Medical Extended Reality Summit, November 4–6, 2025, at the College Park Marriott Hotel & Conference Center in Hyattsville, Maryland. The summit brings together regulators, industry leaders, researchers, patients, and payers to explore how AR, VR, and MR technologies are shaping patient-centered innovation in healthcare. Attendees can experience hands-on demos, engage with emerging clinical, regulatory, and reimbursement trends, and connect with experts driving MedXR forward.

XRA’s Senior Vice President of Research & Best Practices, Stephanie Montgomery, will join a panel examining the technical evaluation of image quality in medical XR devices, alongside representatives from the FDA, Underwriters Lab, medical device companies, and leading researchers. The session will cover current standards for XR, limitations for MedXR applications, and efforts to advance safe, effective adoption in healthcare.
