Austin, TX – Last week, the XR Association submitted two panel discussions to SXSW, a week-long conference that provides an opportunity for the global community of digital creatives to encounter cutting-edge ideas, discover new interests, and network with other professionals who share a similar appetite for forward-focused experiences. Both panels will feature industry experts and delve into the importance of immersive technologies for education and healthcare.
The first panel, titled “Beyond the Classroom: The Role of XR in Precision Learning,” will explore AI and XR’s potential in teaching and the tools needed to power the next education revolution. XR and AI offer unique opportunities for teachers to build personalized instruction, engagement, and precision education, benefitting students’ well-being and efficacy in blended and face-to-face learning environments.
The second panel, titled “Returning Home: How XR is Empowering Veteran Care,” will feature key stakeholders from Veterans Affairs and the XR industry to discuss how AI-driven XR is helping veterans. From upskilling to pain management and mental health services, XR is assisting those who sacrifice their lives to keep our country safe.
