
Washington, D.C. — The XR Association’s Senior Vice President of Research & Best Practices, Stephanie Montgomery, will moderate a panel discussion at the Augmented Enterprise Summit on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.
The panel, titled “Empowering the Workforce: AI & XR for Training, Remote Support, and Work Instructions,” will explore how organizations are using AI and XR to support workforce training, remote assistance, and day-to-day work. Panelists will share real-world applications and discuss how these technologies can deliver just-in-time guidance, instant access to expertise, hands-free work instructions, and immersive training across distributed workforces.
The discussion will also examine the practical considerations of implementing and scaling AI and XR solutions, including workflow integration, content development, legacy infrastructure, device management, connectivity, cybersecurity, and organizational change. Panelists will discuss how organizations are measuring impact through metrics such as time-to-proficiency, error rates, first-time fix rates, downtime reduction, and retention.
Montgomery will be joined by industry leaders from Delta Air Lines, Huntington Ingalls Industries, H-E-B , Southern Company, and Boston Scientific to share perspectives on the evolving role of AI and XR in workforce development and operations.
