XR ASSOCIATION TO HOST SECOND ANNUAL DEMO ON THE HILL

Washington, D.C. – On Tuesday, April 16, 2024, the XR Association, a leading trade association representing the growing ecosystem of augmented, mixed, and virtual reality companies, is hosting the second annual “Demo on the Hill,” an exclusive demonstration event for Members of Congress and their staff. The event will allow attendees to try out XR devices, software, and experiences from XRA member companies Accenture, Cleanbox, HTC, Magic Leap, MediView XR, Meta, Oberon Technologies, Qualcomm, Sony, and Transfr.

Last year’s “Demo on the Hill” hosted hands-on demonstrations by industry leading companies, allowing the event’s 100+ attendees to experience how XR technology is already being used for career and skills training, education, healthcare, as well as gaming and entertainment. Representative Suzan DelBene (D-WA), Co-Chair of the Reality Caucus, offered opening remarks and emphasized the importance of educating Members of Congress about immersive technologies.
