Day-long celebration of XR technology features speakers from around the world
Washington, DC – Today, the XR Association (XRA), the trade association representing the growing ecosystem of companies powering virtual, augmented, and mixed reality (XR), announced CEO, Elizabeth Hyman, will participate in the fifth annual Virtual Reality Day, Saturday November 20, 2021. The day will feature a series of worldwide events focusing on the positive impacts of virtual and augmented reality technology.
“We’re excited to support Virtual Reality Day and celebrate XR,” said Elizabeth Hyman, CEO of XRA. “XR technology is already changing the way people live, work and learn — there are limitless possibilities to improve people’s lives through its use.”
Hyman will speak at 10:30 am ET on “Securing the Limitless Future of the XR Industry.” She joins a long list of speakers from around the world representing the growing ecosystem of institutions, organizations and companies championing virtual, augmented, and mixed reality, including Virtual Reality Day founder Robert Fine, Founder and executive director of International Virtual Reality & Healthcare Association (IVRHA).

XRA’s participation in Virtual Reality Day follows the successful launch of their Limitless Future Conference > XR for Learning & Development. The half day conference focused on XR’s role in workforce development and featured speakers from some of America’s top employers including Walmart and Delta Airlines.
