XRA CEO PARTICIPATED ON PANEL AT PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE EMERGING TECH

Washington, D.C. – On Friday, June 14, Elizabeth Hyman, CEO of the XR Association, participated in a panel discussion at Emerging Tech, a conference, networking event, and tech demonstration event, hosted by Public Knowledge. The panel discussion, titled “Intersection with XR Technologies,” was moderated by Justin Hendrix, CEO & Editor of Tech Policy Press. Hyman was joined by Nasser Eledroos, Policy Counsel at Color of Change, and Dylan Gilbert, Privacy Policy Advisor at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. The panelists explored the transformative potential of XR technologies, delving into their applications, ethical implications, and the importance of policy in shaping the future of XR.

In addition to the panel discussion, the XR Association showcased its latest resources at a dedicated booth during the tech demonstration portion of the conference. Attendees had the opportunity to explore cutting-edge XR applications and learn about the association’s initiatives aimed at fostering innovation while maintaining ethical standards.
