Phoenix, AZ — On Sunday, September 11th, Peirce Clark, XRA’s Program Development Manager, participated in the opening plenary session at the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS) Convergence conference to discuss the future of healthcare. He spoke alongside FDA Commissioner Robert Califf and experts in AI, 3D printing and virtual reality technologies, to paint a picture for how innovative technologies can change the landscape of healthcare. Clark gave the example of a neurosurgeon using AR and VR technologies to improve surgical outcomes. He also explained how patients can use XR technology to reduce pain, access care remotely, and assist in treating a wide variety of health problems. The panel also discussed how collaboration and innovation between tech leaders and regulators can drive meaningful solutions to patients.
