Las Vegas, NV — On Thursday, January 5th, XRA’s CEO Liz Hyman, and XRA’s Senior VP of Public Policy, Joan O’Hara, spoke at CES® 2023. Hyman moderated the panel, “Building an Inclusive Web 3.0 in the Metaverse,” featuring panelists Jacque Madison, Director of Product Accessibility at Accenture; Travis Cloyd, Futurist & Professor at WorldwideXR; and Christina Weaver Jackson, Public Policy Manager at Meta’s Reality Labs. Panelists discussed building equitable practices into the core of Web3, from NFTs and crypto economies to social networks and DAOs. O’Hara represented the XR Association on a panel with Accenture’s Dan Guenther and Denise Zheng, and the Atlantic Council’s Brittan Heller to discuss the “Responsible Metaverse.”
