Washington, DC – On Tuesday, January 17, 2023, the XR Association (XRA), the trade association representing the growing ecosystem of companies powering virtual, augmented, and mixed reality (XR), announced five new member companies.

Among the association’s new members are a number of leading tech-industry organizations that are advancing the XR ecosystem, including:  CompTIA, Captivatar LLC, Conquest VR, CreatorUp, and Mod Tech Labs.

As XR technology continues to expand into critical industries such as healthcare, education, career training and visual art design, these new member companies will help drive XRA’s mission for the responsible development and adoption of XR technology and continue to change the way people live, work and learn.

“We’re excited to welcome this outstanding group of member companies to our association,” said Liz Hyman, CEO of the XR Association. “The continuous growth in our membership affirms that leading companies and organizations across the tech industry understand the importance of virtual, augmented and mixed-reality technology. As the leading convener for the XR industry, we look forward to collaborating with our new members to push forward policies that benefit all in the industry.”

Among XRA’s innovative new members is CompTIA, the leading nonprofit association for the technology industry and workforce.
