Washington D.C. – The Community Discussion Series on Alternative Inputs was held on Thursday, May 23, 2024 and featured speakers Mar Gonzalez-Franco, Staff Research Scientist Manager at Google, Rick Tett, Co-Founder and CTO of Glydr, and Jamie & The Lion, Accessibility Advocate, to discuss the impact that alternative inputs can have on people with disabilities navigating virtual environments.
The discussion had 30 concurrent attendees including those from industry, academia, and civil society. Together, the group discussed best practices for implementing alternative inputs. A full recording of the event has been uploaded to the XR Access YouTube page.
