The XR Association, in partnership with the RXN Group, released results from a survey of 600 manufacturing CEOs and decision-makers across the country. “Beyond the Factory Floor: XR’s critical role in manufacturing and workforce development” provides a snapshot of the manufacturing industry’s growing use and embrace of XR for scaling efficiencies, employee training, and quality control and inspection.
Over a third of manufacturing CEOs and decision-makers believe that XR technology can help address workforce skill gaps by significantly reducing barriers to skill acquisition, improving new hire training, helping with employee recruitment, improving employee training and education, and helping create new career advancement opportunities.
