Washington, D.C. – XRA and the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF) will host the 5th Annual AR/VR Policy Conference on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2025, in Washington, D.C. This event brings together industry leaders, policymakers, academia, and researchers to explore the evolving policy landscape for immersive technologies. 

As part of the conference’s continued exploration of emerging immersive trends, a featured panel titled “The Future of the Virtual Economy: XR, Crypto, and Blockchain in the Next Digital Era.” This timely conversation will examine how the convergence of extended reality (XR), cryptocurrency, and blockchain technologies is driving the growth of a virtual economy that is reshaping global commerce.
