The XR Association (XRA) will take part in the MDIC Medical Extended Reality Summit, November 4–6, 2025, at the College Park Marriott Hotel & Conference Center in Hyattsville, Maryland. XRA’s Senior Vice President of Research & Best Practices, Stephanie Montgomery, will join a panel examining the technical evaluation of image quality in medical XR devices, alongside representatives from the FDA, Underwriters Lab, medical device companies, and leading researchers. The session will cover current standards for XR, limitations for MedXR applications, and efforts to advance safe, effective adoption in healthcare.
