XRA STAFF TAKES PART IN NAWB FORUM AND VMED23 CONFERENCE

Washington, D.C. – XRA, a leading industry association for extended reality, had a busy week with staff members appearing at two prominent conferences last week. In Washington D.C, XRA’s CEO Elizabeth Hyman moderated a panel discussion at the National Association of Workforce Boards (NAWB) Forum on Monday, March 27, 2023. The panel, “The Power of Immersion: Leveraging Emerging Technologies for Workforce Development,” focused on how industry and government can work together synchronously to curate policies that will better support the workforce and how immersive technology can facilitate enhanced outcomes. 

In Los Angeles, CA, Peirce Clark, XRA’s Program Development Manager, attended the MedVR Conference hosted by Cedars-Sinai Medicine. The vMed23 Symposium showcased the newest tech in Medical Extended Reality (MXR) and brought together clinicians using MXR for patient care, hospitals, and clinics evaluating starting their own MXR program, and industry partners developing MXR hardware and software solutions.

XRA’s participation in these events highlights the organization’s commitment to advancing the field of XR technology and exploring its potential applications across a various industries.
