Washington, D.C.- XRA’s CEO, Elizabeth Hyman, has announced that the association is launching a new podcast, Immersive Insights, this spring. Hosted by XRA’s team leaders, the podcast will feature two mini-series exploring the impact of immersive technology in today’s world.

The first mini-series will explore the competitiveness of the United States in immersive technology. Leveraging XRA’s upcoming white paper, developed in partnership with the Digital Trade and Data Governance Hub at George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs, this series will explore the impact of XR technology on different aspects of life, such as learning, work, and play. Additionally, we’ll examine its implications for economic competitiveness and national security.

The second mini-series will dive into the use of XR technology in education. Building upon XRA’s “Insights from Teachers on the Future of XR for Education,” this second series will provide practical insights into integrating immersive technology into classrooms.

The podcast is part of XRA’s broader mission to promote the responsible development and adoption of XR technology. By bringing together industry leaders and experts, XRA hopes to foster collaboration, innovation, and growth in the XR ecosystem.
