XRA CEO, ELIZABETH HYMAN, JOINED FUTURE OF WORK CAUCUS PANEL TO EXPLORE XR'S IMPACT ON WORKPLACE BENEFITS

Washington, D.C. – Ealier today, Elizabeth Hyman, CEO of the XR Association, a leading industry association for extended reality technologies, participated in a panel discussion hosted by the Congressional Future of Work Caucus. The Caucus was officially launched in 2020 and is co-chaired by Representatives Lisa Blunt Rochester (DE-At Large) and Andrew Garbarino (NY-02).

Hyman spoke about the power of virtual and augmented reality technologies for workforce training and development, the technology’s applications across different sectors, and areas where policymakers can step in to ensure American workers benefit from immersive technology.

The Congressional Future of Work Caucus educates Members of Congress, as well as their staffers, stakeholders, and the public, on the challenges and opportunities prevalent in our economy. The Caucus discusses topics ranging from the growing effects of automation on the workforce, the emerging impact of artificial intelligence on society, the changing nature of the social contract, and the possible disruption & opportunities presented by technology in the United States economy.
