XRA'S DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC POLICY PARTICIPATES IN ATLANTIC COUNCIL EVENT

Washington, D.C. – On Thursday, July 27, 2023, XRA’s Director of Public Policy, Miranda Lutz, participated in the panel discussion, “Unlocking the potential for digital twins in the federal enterprise,” hosted by the Atlantic Council. The panel highlighted the challenges, benefits, and risks associated with deploying this technology.

The discussion focused on how the U.S. civilian agencies could use digital twins for applications around urban planning, disaster mitigation and response, sustainability, facilities management, and more. Panelists also explored how other countries like the UK and South Korea are leveraging digital twins and encouraged the U.S. government to create a national strategy on digital twins.  

Panelists included John Goodman, Accenture Federal Services, Miranda Lutz, XRA, Kyle Michl, Accenture Federal Services, Adam Villalobos, Amazon Web Services, Lowell Ursrey, US Air Force, Aaron Kleiner, Unity Technologies; and the event was moderated by Lloyd Whitman and Solomon Wise, Atlantic Council
